Hello
Families!
Don’t Forget
– No School This Friday October 10th and Monday October 13th!
Last week in
Language Arts we worked on letters T, U, V, X, Y, and Z. We learned the sounds for letters I and
U. We reviewed the sight words “the”, “little”,
“red” and “yellow”. The Take Home Book was
“At The Zoo”. We are beginning to copy
sentence starters in our journals and finish the sentence (ex. “I am ____.”)
In Math, we
told if a group had more, fewer, or the same as another group, and made groups
of one or two more and one or two less than another group.
In Science
we continued to read about the seasons.
In Social
Studies we have been reviewing and practicing school rules and procedures.
Have a great
week!
Miss Anton and Mrs. Banker
